Email Merge - How to change the Sent From
I need to send a mass mailing and I do not want the mailing to come from me
but from the author of the letter. I don't know how to send on behalf of
other than by sending each of the letters individually?...

Mail merge fields formatting
I'm creating mail merge documents. When the data is uploaded into the merge
document, the format of the merge field changes and does not match the rest
of the Word Document. I attempt to correct the text format, but as soon as
the document is printed, the format goes back to the original which does not
match the rest of the document. Not sure what I'm doing wrong....

Merge Field Currency Switch Rounding
I am working with MS Office 2003 and trying to round a merge field to
currency rounded to the nearest $1K. I've got the decimal rounding handled.

Data Source
I am trying to do a mail merge. On my machine when I select open data
source, I get the option of choosing DDE, etc. When I choose this
option, it allows me to have 2 characters past the decimal point,
which is what I want.
I have other computers that I am trying to do the exact same process,
but instead of asking me to confirm data source and allowing me to

Marking up data in Access to import in Word mail merge
I have a field in my database that stores an outline of topics covered in a
course. The data is made up of headings and text.
In my Word document I've created a new style called "heading3". Is there
anyway to mark up the entries in the database field so that Word will know to
apply "heading3" to the headings?...

Mail merge multiple documents in one go with correct numbering
I designed a database to hold job descriptions. I set up a mailmerge so that
each individual job description can printed.
Most of the documents are more than one page. If I were to mail merge all
the documents it would come out at "Page X of 70".
What i would really like to do is mail merge all the job descriptions in one
go but make sure the "Page X of Y" are correct for each docume...

label merge--lost label template
I created a label merge yesterday and the template is now gone (the outlines
for where the label is on the page). I tried to create a new one today and
it still is not showing the outlines for the labels. The tabs are still set
up, but I can't see if my text is fitting into the label because the outline
is not there. How do I fix this? Help! I have 3000 I need to print
TODAY!!!!!!...

Set order of "next record" to list down left column then right
New to Office 2007. Is it possible to establish the order in which "next

Mailmerge and MS Access DB Splitting
I use Access 2002 (and Word 2002). There are approximately 20 users on a
network (in my unit) that access a db on the network. If i split the db then
the tables are on the network and the applications, queries etc are deployed

Substring used one Mailmerge Fields
In this office we have documents that take .dat files created from our Oracle
database, and use them for mail merge documents. Recently the size of the
fields has been increased and the merge documents don't fit some of the
fields anymore. I am wondering if there is any way, macro or otherwise, that
I can substring (shorten) the merge field so it still fits it's document.

Multi page merge with different page types
Does any version of Word allow page definitions to be defined with printer
tray assignments so a multi page merged document will pull the appropriate
paper for each page?
For example, I have a 3 page letter and need to print page 1 on letterhead
and pages 2 and 3 on second page letterhead.

Multiple Data Sources on a single form
Please forgive me, but I'm new to using Mail Merge.
I was wondering if it is possible to use more than one data source in
a single document. For instance an envelope. I want to pull the

Merge Freezes
Using MS ACCESS 2002 query as a record source for merge. My merge document
freezes up at specific record (89 inmy query) yet the query generated 600
records. Is there a limit to the number of records word will merge to? Or
is there someother reason for the merge to freeze or not even function
properly as it does not find specific records when using the binoculars

label merge advancing only one label/pg
In word 2003 label merge from an excel data source advances only one label
per page so the 2nd label on the first page becomes the 1st label on the next
and so on. I don't have this problem in word 2000. Is there something I
might be missing?...

Word mailmerge how to do multiple If statements
My data source contains codes e.g.3,4,5,14,16 that I want to change for text
in my merged documents. First, how do I enter the multiple If statements? I
think that I can write the nested If but don't know how to actually enter it
in my document. I'm using Word 2000. Also how many nested Ifs will Word

merge to create new docs so footer (page X of X) comes out right
I am doing a merge of a 4-page document that has a footer (page X of 4).
when i do the merge, the merged document is 28 pages because i have 7 rows of
data. how do i tell it to create new documents for each row? or can i?
currently, after the merge my footer says page X of 28 when it should only be

Merge to Directory
In Word 2003, under the Mail Merge Task Pane there's a DIRECTORY option. I
want to merge our personnel database into a directory. I want a 2 column
layout with the Family name & Phone Number on line one followed with 3
indented lines of info (Address, names, etc).
