Print job always ends with information page
Every time I print a multi or single page document; I always get a page
containing the following titles: Filename, directory, template, title,
subject, author, keywords, comments, creation date, change number, last saved
on, last saved by, total editing time, last printed on, as of last complete
printing, etc. I am wasting paper with this extra sheet of information of

Word2007 unable to save files it creates .tmp
I have installed recently officesuite2007 & am newbie to 2007 esp Word. When
I open & save as, I choose 'Word 93-2003 documents' & then write some
sentences in word file. But when I try to save it it asks as something like
save as '~w.....tmp.doc'. I don't have any option but to say Cancel. It
even prompts a message 'Retry'. When I opt yes, even then it says save as
'~w.....tmp.doc'...

Word 2007 only printing page 1 of multipage document
I have a 6 page document for work that only shows the front page and is only
printing the front page. It does not go to the next page in print preview.
i tried copying and pasteing to a new document, and it still does the same
thing. I tried emailing it to work, and it still does the same thing. I
need this doument....

Can I control character overlap?
I want to create a title with the characters (letters) in different
colors and overlapping. I am able to get the overlap using the
character spacing, but each letter overlaps the previous one. I would
like to have the first overlap the second and so on.
Is there a way to do that?...

Printing one envelope from a Word 2007 document.
When i go to mailings; then click on envelope, I do not get the screen which
shows the inside address on the document for the envelope. It seems to skip
this screen, and go straight to a screen called envelops and labels. I want
the "simpler" default screen. How do i get to it?...

Printer part misses page numbers.
I prefer to have the page numbers at top centre.
The printers we use here tend to clip part of the number and
these are then illegible.
I can't find a way to move the number down the page a bit to
prevent this.

Best way to send document with exact fonts?
Is there a way that I can send a Word document so that the recipient
will see the exact fonts that I used even if they do not have those

How to maintain settings between two different printers?

Word 2007 - further problems
Things seemed to have evolved ... not for the better. Now it is not
possible to save a file from Word. When you give up and say "Don't Save", it
closes and immediately opens up again. Need to go to the Windows Task
Manager in order to end the process.
Since these problems have appeared, I have scanned the system for viruses
and trojan horses ... and restarted. No help.
Any suggest...

location of styles/formatting frame
All of a sudden, as I loaded and reloaded a file, the styles and formatting
pane, went from a pane on the right (vertical) to a horizontal pane at the
bottom. How do I reset it ? I do not see that option in the edit options

Grouping in Word 2007

Finding duplicate phrases and paragraphs.
I am copying a rare particular story from many different
newsgroups and pasting the fragments into a Word2003
document.
Is there some way to automatically find duplicated sections
of the story to as to help weld it into one seamless whole?
In the spell checker one can easily do this for duplicated
words, but I need the same thing for duplicated strings, and
even sentences.

copy and paste picture error?
Office 2002
whenever i copy and paste pictures, straight from pdf files, the picture
that appears in Word appears to be tilted on the side... which is mildly
annoying since i have to change the orientation to make it upright manually,
by clicking the button 3 times.
the real problem is, the copy and pasted picture is of VERY low quality,

Hyperlink canceled
I am using Word 2007 with Vista Home Premium SP1
When I click a hyperlink I now get the following message box, “This
operation has been canceled due to restrictions in effect on this computer.
Please contact your system administrator.†This is on my personal home
computer. The hyperlinks worked before. What has changed to cause this

Recovery Disc D
Could you direct me to a Microsoft Community where someone may be able to
answer the following:
This morning I had a little icon in the right lower taskbar which informs me
that Recovery Disc D is almost full. Do you have any idea if or how I could
go about giving Disc D more space (I would get it from Disc C I guess
because that has 186 GB free to use).

Widen Header area w/o affecting text area
In a section, I want to widen the Header area horizontally (left-to-right),
without widening the text area in the main body of the document. Is there a
way to do this?
From within the Header, I tried grabbing the triangular-shaped guide (or
whatever it's called) on the ruler, but doing so widened the text area as
well.

Envelope addressing
I have Word 2000. When I try to print the address on an envelope it comes
out underlined. Why does this happen? I can't find any option for selecting
or deselecting that. Also, when I tried to edit the default return address,
instead of deleting the old text it just put a strike through it and
appended the new text after it.

Hide white space
My top margins disappeared, making it look like the paper is only 9" in height, not 11, in
print layout view. The margin was up against the top edge of the paper in the ruler at
left, and couldn't be dragged. I could find absolutely nothing in the menus or toolbars to
control this.

Headers and Footers
Do I have to use the "Sample footers" provided? I don't need all those
samples and it just encourages staff to not follow standards
