When I print page numbering is screwed up
On the page, the automatic numbering looks correct lets say it's 5 pages.
Each page shows the correct pagination - 1 of 5, 2 of 5 etc.
When I print the document, it then prints af Page 1 of 1, Page 2 of 2, Page
3 of 3 instead of Page 1 of 5, 2 of 5, 3 of 5, etc.
Is there a fix for this MSWORD 2003 bug?...

TOC, automatically update numbering & links?
Hi,
I've been using Word for a long time, and have never needed the
advanced features. I recently started working on a long document,
where I have a changing Table of Contents. I decided to see if Word
could make the updating the TOC easier.
I spent a lot of fruitless time trying to get the insert->field->TC
to actually do something, rather than just return to the cursor with...

Page Numbering and Field codes
We are using field codes to not count the page numbers on our divider pages,
this works on the actual pages,

This is the code on our divider page

Outline Numbering issue
As posted under other thread, my outline numbering is as follow:
1. Sales Meeting
a) printers
(i) HP:
(ii) Dell:
(iii) Others:
My question is about the numbering at the third level.
When I type (i), (ii), and (iii), it automatically changes into (h), (i),
and (j).
How can I stop autoconversion of numeric "i", into "h"?

I have a document on 276 pages of wich I want to add pagenumbering. The
problem is, that after 251 pages it starts all over again from 1, and it wont

Style separator hides numbered items in cross-reference list
I'm using Word 2003 but testing to prepare for a migration to Word 2007. In
Word 2003, I've set up an outline numbering system for documents that
combines Heading styles with other styles that are linked to (i.e., "based
on") the Heading styles. For example, Heading 1 creates "Section 1." with no
title, and "Heading 1 Title" creates "Section 1. My Title." followed by a
style separator an...

List Paragraphy style does not automatically apply to lists
Hi guys,
I have created a custom style for my "Normal" paragraphs. This style
has a 12 point space after each paragraph. For my bulleted lists I
don't want that space to appear.
If I watch the normal behaviour of the default Word template, any
bulleted lists I create automatically switch to the "List Paragraph"
style, so that they have got less space after each paragraph than the
"Norma...

Page numbering - DISREGARDING sections
I inherited a folder of approximately 75 Word documents - some are 1 page,
others 2 pages. I needed them assembled into 1 file, so I used a macro I
found to put them all in one document. That worked just fine. However, it put
each document as a separate sections, so when I insert page numbers to the
big document, it numbers by section. What I want is for it to just start at
page 1 and ke...

Word caption numbering error
Hi
I have a large word document.
At chapter 5, the caption numbering has gone wrong.
Chapters are formatted as Heading 1.
The figure and table captions come up as 1.1 1.2 etc, instead of 5.1 5.2 etc
Use chapter number is checked.
Code is { STYLEREF 1 \s }.{ SEQ Table \* ARABIC \s 1 }
Any ideas as to how to correct this without having to redo the document.
Thanks

Word 2007 - Multilevel List
Hello,
I would like to have a multilevel list with 3 levels, having this concept:
a dot («.») following the current level of numbering means the presence of
underlying levels.
Example:

1.1. sub-chapter having sub-subchapters (1.1. has the final DOT)
1.1.1 sub-subchapter (1.1.1 has NOT the final DOT)

?? A Multilevel List in a Table ??
Hi everyone,
I'm having a bit of trouble using a multilevel list in a table in Word 2007.
Basically, if I create the multilevel list *outside* the table, everything
works great. Pressing the TAB key causes the level to increase as I would
expect (for example, if I'm currently at level 1.2 and I press the TAB key,
the level changes to 1.1.1 and the text is indented, just as I would
expect...
