I understand from MVP site that to get a robust outline numbering scheme, that H1 style should have the outline numbering set up for it and that other Heading (H2,3,4 etc) should be based on H1 style(& its numbering). This happens for all styles in the document. It does not happen with other documents. I checked that "automatically update" is enabled for all the TOC styles.
