Losing Format
Hello and thank you in advance. I keep having a problem with my word
document losing it's format. Seems it happens after printing. I can't seem
to find out why it keeps happening. Basically what happens most of the time
is the document always moves from the top of the page either up or down. As
I mentioned before is seems to happen most after printing. If you need more

markups
How do I delete markups permanently from a document?
I never use markups yet they continue to appear in templates. These
templates are used by others on a shared drive but they do not know how to
use markups. Even tho I delete them going through view and markups and then
save, they are back once the document or template is reopened....

How do you move the whole header horizontally (not just the text)
I cannot move the whole header right. I can align the text inside the header
box, but I need to move the box itself. I know how to adjust the vertical
position, I want to adjust the horizontal position of the header box. Can
anyone help? Thank you....

Letterhead header question
Hi, i am a new user of word 2007, have created a letterhead where the header
contains some graphics for the top of the letter and the footer is the
address, as long as I only type a two page letter the second page omits the
header OK but when I type the third page the first page header reinsert it
self.
How do I suppress the header on all the successive pages?

word division
I'm working on a word document, using a script font--"IRIS", and the words at
the end of a line are being indiscriminately divided at the end, i.e., there
may just be the first 1 or 2 letters of a word at the end of a line, and the
rest of the word is continued on the next line. Even the word "as" was
divided! The line setting is for left alignment, not justified margins, but

Header/Footer "Same as previous" should let user choose any Sectio
The "Same as previous" feature in Word currently lets the user specify that
the header or footer should be populated with the same content as the
previous Section.
A refinement of this feature to allow the user to specify not just the one
"previous" section but to choose from a selection list of all previous
sections in the document would be a great help for a document which:

print two per page wide
I have printed "2 per page" before on legal paper - now I want to print "two
pages side by side" - client has 17"x14" legal paper that we will cut "after"
- printer will handle this, but can't figure how to set up the word
document... also it will be a "merge" layout, so page 1 and page 2 will be on
same paper... I know it seems dumb - but there is a "cost per image" factor
involved... ...

Document formatted for book fold layout will not print.

How can you scan in multiple pages into one document (multi-page)
I am trying to scan multiple pages (of a magizine article) into a word
document that can just be one document with several pages - so I can email it
out without the receiving having to open up each page seperately - I
currently save each page seperately to accomplish this task and hope there is
an easier way both to scan and send....

Office 2007 Trial
I recently downloaded the Home & Student Office Trial as I can't decide which
one I wish to purchase. I thought that everything within these trials was
supposed to be fully functional. While using the Word 2007 program within the
trial I tried to add page numbers to a paper I am writing for work and it

setting page view for .docs in IE
Hi - i wonder if you can help? I'm uploading docs to the internet and I want
to make sure that when people click and open them in their browser they
appear as they would in print layout, rather than have the item zoomed in and
spread across the browser window. How do I set the file to do this?

How do I change indentation of the footnote separator line?
I'm using Word 2007. I changed my Normal style in one document so that the
first line indent is .5". Now my footnote separator line also indents .5"
even though I want it to be flush left. (When I change Normal style back to
no indentation, the footnote separator line goes back flush left too.)
I can't select the line and can't find a way to control its indentation

Page Setup dialog box
I have Word 2003.
I have read that I could open the Page Setup dialog box by double-clicking
at the top of the Ruler. When I double-click at the top of the Ruler, I get
the Customize dialog box, not the Page Setup dialog box. Why is this so?

Word 2007 booklet
I am preparing that will be 8 1/2 x 11 (landscape) and then folded. It will
be approx 4 pages front and back, thus making approx 16 pages when folded. I
can't figure out how to set this up so that it will print correctly.

Page Size Problem with Word 2000
In Word 2000, I've never had this problem before. When trying to change the
page size (under page setup) it says custom size, but the pull down menu is
blank for any other options. I've tried to restore, to repair, and to
reinstall Office, but nothing changes. What do I try next?
