I am copying text from excel files previously created in 03 into new word

English/French Problem
I work in both languages, however my computer seems to like French.
How can I set the default language to English (or anything else for that
matter) and have it STAY there?
Looks like "Detect Language Automatically" overrides the 'Default' option -
sometimes -
Thx

Hidden "speech marks" and entry problems "" Word2007
Hey there.
I'm the token IT/PC guy at work. One of the girls is having trouble using

If they are inserted as you write, the first set "can be seen, but the last
set is invisible until you hit enter
Not really a bit problem "", but if she wanted to go back and put speech

Can a dictionary be utilised in Word 2002?
I run XP SP2 and IE7. I use Word 2002 in standalone form as my word

On my PC I have the Works Dictionary and the Encarta right-click defintion
which works fine for looking up the meaning of words on web pages but not in

As Word 2002 doesn't have a Dictionary is there any way I can link directly...

Why do some AutoText entries not AutoComplete?
Folks,
I've seen this question asked many times, but haven't quite seen an answer.
Out of the box, Word 2002/2003 have "Dear Mom and Dad" and "Best wishes".
If you type "best w", "best wishes," comes up on AutoComplete.
If you type "dear mom", nothing comes up.
Is there an easy explanation?
Thanks!

that is broken. A co-worker experienced the same issue. Could MS have
turned off this functionality, because of a product key validation? I ha...

when a word is misspelled it has a red line underneath it. I am supposed to

However this feature works only intermittently. Many times when I right
click on the word it does not show a list of suggested spellings. Usually
