Mod Table Title on continuation pages?
Need to find a way to have a table title listed for the first page it's on,
then if there is a continuation page, the same title followed by "(cont)". I
can do a title that is the same using the heading row, but I can't figure out
how to have the (cont) show up after the title on the continuation page(s) to
show it is a continuation.

Needed Support for Extended Tables/Figures
When a Table extends beyond the page on which it starts, WORD provides a
mechanism for the table to be labeled on subsequent pages using the "repeat
header row" capability. However, it is not always clear to a reader whether

Edit embedded Excel file in protected Word form
I'm trying to add an embedded Excel file to the form. Everything works
fine until I turn the protection on. The excel file is locked and
will not let me edit.
I've checked to make sure the appropriate sections are not locked when
the protection is on, and have gone so far as to uncheck all the
protected fields so essentially nothing is protected, but when I turn

Table header rows repeat and modify

best way to convert Word 2007 tables to JPGs?
Hello
I am writing a book and have a very long manuscript with about 50 different
Tables (MS Word, 2007). As many of you have probably seen with large
documents, the tables can get a bit funky and I would very much like to
convert each table into a basic picture (.jpg is fine).
Anyone have any ideas?

Table duplicates itself on second page
When entering data into a table near the page break, the table duplicates
itself onto the second page when I hit "enter." Hitting the "backspace"
button causes it to flash between the first and second pages. Any thoughts?
It is in Word 2003....

Option to specify header row greyed out in Sort Table
I have previously sorted this table using the column names in the header row.
However now when I attempt to sort the table, the option (in the Table - Sort
pop-up) to specify that "My list has header row / no header row" is greyed
out.
Why has this happened and what do I need to do to ungrey it?
I'm using Office Word 2003.

Printed Word document, print a phantom border
Printing document prints a border where one does not exist in the viewable
document. The border looks like one as would surround a group of table cells.
But no cells are selectable in the area where the phantom borders appear.
Cannot think these border can be associated with, or how to get rid of them?
(Word 2003 Sp3)...

Problem with cell margins
Word 2007: Even though I adjust the default cell margins to 0-0-0-0 (from
the Table tab, then Options), I still have to go row by row, and sometimes
cell by cell to get the margins to 0 (instead of the default 0.08").
And, even though the cell (size is approx 1" x 1") margins say 0-0-0-0,
there is still a gap above and to the left of the text.
Alignment is top left; auto size is off...

How can I put text on half the page, along side a table?
I have put a table on half the page and now I am trying to write on the other

Word print borders to phantom cells
Printing a Word document (Word 2003 SP3), generates what appears to be
borders around a table cell. But these borders are not displayed in either
the Print Normal View or Print Preview. Nor is there any selectable table
cell in the vicinty of where the printed borders appear? Any idea how to
discover what they are associated with and get rid of them?...

Again - Formatting tables in a document
Hi,
Sorry to post this message again. I tried posting a message a few hours ago,
but I can't view it on my computer. I asked if there is a way to write vb
script to select and format all the tables in a long document. I received a

Default values for Split Cells dialogue box
I use the Split Cells feature daily. Currently the dialogue box has static
values of 2 and 1 respectfully for "Number of Columns" and "Number of Rows".

Word form does not open at the top
I have a protected form that does not open at the top of the document where
there's a title and logo. The first form controls are 3/4 down the page
(therefore that's the first tab stop). The rest of the form is a table with
various controls.

How do I angle the header row in a Word table.
I am trying to angle the header row at say 45 degrees with the text alignment
going from bottom to top for easier reading. I only need thin columns but
have large headers, so this will save room and make viewing the document

Formatting Table of Figures
I have a number of photographs in a document for which I want to create a
Table of Pictures (figures). Some pictures are portrait mode and I have
