HyperLink is not created automatically
When I type something like "www.sss.com" or "sss@sssss.com" in my email
message with HTML format it does not become a HyperLink for me. I have to
change it manually. How can I configure my Outlook to automatically create a
HyperLink when typing a URL or an Email address.

office button not working-no drop down
I'm running into an issue with Office 2007, where the Office Button in the
upper left-hand corner becomes unresponsive. When you click on it, it goes
from white or bright gold to a brown color, and no menu appears - if you
click somewhere else, it goes back to white again, but still does not work.
This is happening in all Apps (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).

Installing Office 2007 on Multiple Computers
Hi,
I have a version of Office which I am sure has multiple license attached to
it. The question is how do I know if I used all the installs? We have 4
computers and one of the laptops is going into hard drive failure. I know I
can call to have the licence transfered to the new computer but I would just
as soon install it first.

spell check on msn no longer works
I installed office 2007. now my msn spell check no longer works. to fix
this problem I did the following.
1. put the office 2003 cd in ( you'll need to enter the poduct code on the
box)
2. click custum install ( uncheck everything else!)
3. double click office shared features
4. double click proofing tools
5. double click english.
6. then click install.
That fixed the problem for m...

Have searched, but found dead ends.
Is there a way to backup a user's office 2003 profile and import the
settings/preferences into office 2007? It would be great if the OPS files

PDF attachments
A PDF file is Ok when opened from a folder, but if I attach it to an e-mail
the user receives it corrupted.
Only using MS Outlook and Outlook Express. Other e-mail clients work well.
If I compress the file, it works ok too.
Is there a solution to my Outlook clients?

Can I upgrade Standard 2003 to Home Student 2007?
I currently have two desktops for my sons with Office Standard 2003. I want
to upgrade both desktops to 2007, but do not need the Outlook option. Will
the Home/Student 2007 upgrade work with my Standard 2003? I'd like to save
the $139 per box.

Office 2007 Professional Downgrade Rights
Hi,
Is it possible to purchase Open License of Office 2007 with downgrade rights
and install Office 2000 on our system in place of the Office 2007 license?
If it is possible, can we use our existing Office 2000 installation disc to
install it on our computers?

how to customize open/save dialogue box
In Office applications, there is a very familiar dialogue box for opening or
saving files. On the left border, there is a vertical column that typically
contains icons for Favorites, My Documents, Desktop, etc.
How do I add or remove items in this list? Unfortunately, I don't know what
the official name for this list is so it is difficult to search the help

Only administrator able to modify approved publishers
Assuming the security level for either Excel or Access is set to high. In
other words by default, the system only allow macro to run from trusted
source.
The environment is this: the users are remote desktop users of a company's
terminal server running Windows 2003 and Office 2003. Is there a way I can

Publisher date format
Hi,
I am using office 2003, i have a publisher page that extracts data from an
XLS page, this all works fine till i get to the date. The date in the XLS
sheet is in the UK format dd/mm/yyyy but when it is displayed in publisher it
turns into mm/dd/yyy. I have checked all the settings of both the office
producs including local settings of the machine and all settings are correct.

Microsoft works file
Can someone please advise what my problem might be. I have numerous word
processing type files saved under My Documents. I have a correspondance file
saved there that is larger than all the others. I've been using this file
with no problems for years. Suddenly after using the file recently I can no
longer open the file. The error states that the file may already be open,

Okay I am not sure what has happened but since I have downloaded internet
explorer 8 beta and the new office updates. I have not been able to copy and
paste from my email. Copying a recipe from email to word. It just won't do
it. Has something changed and I don't know about it?? Someone please help

file open/views/details -set detail for office 2003 under VISTA
I am having an annoying problem (upon file open or save /view ... I CAN'T GET
TO SEE the precious "date modified" under VIEW DETAILS, even if I select it
each time -- I only get the NAME Column under VISTA and Office 2003)

Installing a Enterprise 2007
I currently have Home and Student Edition 2007 installed on my computer. It
does not have Access 2007 which i would like to have. I can get Enterprise
which does have it. Is it possible to install Enterprise over H&S without
losing my files? Is installing just Access from the Enterprise cd a
possibility?...
