New Dialogue Window
We have disabled the Office 2007 New dialogue window with the 2003 one by
disabling online content in the registry. Is there a way to make the dialogue
box default to a specific tab? Thanks...

Chart of 2003 > 2007 menus
The 2007 Office programs have some very good points to them but the
navigation of menus is asinine.
Does anyone know of a published chart showing the location of 2003 file,
edit, etc. file functions in 2007?

Will Office XP Pro work with Vista home premium?
I have a desktop computer running WinXP Home with Office XP Professional
installed ( I just love the functionality of the Office Short Cut Task Bar).
My new computer Toshiba Satellite pro L300 with Vista Home Premium.
Can I install Office XP Pro onto it?
Or does Vista have it's own short cut task bar?

When Trying to install office enterprise 2007 install errors out
Ive looked around the web and on this forum and cannot find the answer to
this question, so i figured i'd post. On install of office 07 ent. about

Small Bussiness 2007 can't find a version of MS Office
Progressive installs range from Works ver 7.0, 2000 Pro, 2003 Pro Enterprise
and now 2007 Small Business. Works and 2003 have all of the latest updates
.... and are listed as qualified for 2007 update (as were the other Office
products).

Will Office 2003 Pro run on Vista
Forgive me for coming so late to the party, but will Office Pro 2003 run
on Vista? The pre-loaded Office that came with my Vista machine does not
have Access and Publisher that I used to use every day. If it will only
run on XP, then I've made a very expensive mistake.

Microsoft Office2000 Professional
Hi I am trying to reload the above product back on to my computer following
an error which occurred when SP3 was downloaded to my computer. I can't find
the CD case which has the product key code as the CD's are kept in a flip

Unable to get to screen to enter product code
I am having the most difficult time trying to get to the download page of the
trial. I've signed up several times, gotten SEVERAL product key numbers, but
everytime it asks me to sign into my microsoft live, msn, hotmail, whatever,
and i type in my login and password and it gives me the following: Could Not

I have original upgrades to 2 lots of Office XP Professional which were
purcsaed legally and installed on computers years ago as upgrades to the then
existing also legal installation. Those computers with the original software

Hi, All
I have read a lot about Modi, the problem I hav MS office Xp with Frontpage
earlier i used MS office 2003 and had a MOdi Driver so when ever i tried to
Print i got a Printer Option That converted the files to TIFF.After
installing XP i have lost That option.
IS it possible to get it back in XP?

I cannot activate my office programs by typing product key...
I just bought a new laptop with windows vista and I am trying to activate the
office programs (licenced) with the product key written under the laptop.
But, when I am typing it, it appears the warning that this is a wrong key.

Merge Word 2003 w/ Outlook as DB
First, I only generate one letter or form at a time, not mass mailings.
To date, I have been using Mail Merge in Word 2003 to insert the name,
address, etc. from Outlook contacts into form documents created from

Office 2007 Customized Deployment
We're using Group Policy to deploy an OCT'd Office 07 Std, and it's
mostly working with the config.xml set as:
Display Level="basic" CompletionNotice="no" SuppressModal="yes"
NoCancel="yes" AcceptEula="yes"
However, upon completion of the install, the Go To Office Online
dialog appears - which setting, either in the OCT or xml file,
suppresses this notification?

Microsoft Update says Office SP1 needs to be installed.
Hi,
I have been trying to find a solution for this but I just can't get my head
around it.
When I install Office 2007 on our desktops I include the SP1 .msp files in
the \Updates folder. Thing is when I run Microsoft Update after the Office
2007 installation it says I need to install Office 2007 SP1 (but it is
installed). SP1 is listed in Add and Remove Programs.

Microsoft Office Compatability Pack uninstall
Is it possible to uninstall the Microsoft Office Compatability Pack? I don't
see anything in Add/Remove Programs with that name. Is it registered as
Microsoft Visual Studio Tools for Applications 2.0?
I'd like to uninstall it to see if it's responsible for an error that I'm
now getting when using ShellExecuteA to launch a .doc type file (Error 33).

Installing Office Ultimate 2007
I have just downloaded Office Ultimate 2007 to desktop of a laptop currently
running Office 2003. In article 928091 Microsoft writes that you can install
and use more than one version of MS Office on a single computer, however, "we

Office 2000
I have used Office 2000 for years and suddenly it goes wrong. Can't use Word
or Xcell. The Microsoft "pop up" shows 2000 has "crashed". So get out the two
disc set and try the "remedy fault" promt. It does not work. So use the
uninstall with the idea of a new install. Problem, now it asks for 25 digit
code. Cannot find the code.
Can some one help with where to find out this 25 digit cod...

Outlook 2003 and Office 2007
I have installed Outlook 2003 with no other Office 2003 application along
with Office 2007. Outlook 2007 is not installed. Everytime, I start Outlook
2003, I get configuration screen that states "Please wait while windows
configures Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2007". After configuration, it

I'm confused. From what I've read on the Microsoft site, I can run
\\server\share\setup.exe /admin to customize. But those cutomizations won't
be noticed if installed as a published install. But I can't see anything
about scripting Outlook Profiles in the xml config files.

Office 2003 Product ID - Correct amount of numbers in it?
I have installed Office 2003 once on my desktop and my daughter now wants to
