Installing 2007 Office H&S over 2003 Pro
Hello
I wish to install Office Home and Student 2007 over Office Professional
2003.
The object is to obtain Onenote and the updated versions of Word and Excel
from 2007 H&S while retaining Publisher and Outlook in 2003 Pro version.
Looking for advice as to how this should be done with the least hassle.

Office User Setup Hangs a bit
I rebuilt a PC from scratch. Installed all Windows XP updates. Installed
Office 2003 and all updates. When a user runs Word or Access for the 1st
time the program goes through a setup routine which takes 1 minute and 20
seconds (I looked at a clock). I am not sure if this is a reasonable time or
not.

Office 2007 PRO PLUS installs....updates are applied.....UNINSTALL
I have purchased and installed 20 licenses of Office 2007 Professional Plus
on Windows XP and VISTA. It seems that OFFICE 2007 is disappearing from

Re-installing my licensed software when I can't find product code
New Message: I had a computer crash this summer which wiped out my Office

I just bought a new laptop to replace one that is defective. My new laptop

How do I change MS Office default font for inactive areas
I cannot find a way to change the default font in Windows (i.e. the one now
in use). Not sure how else to ask that question. It's the font that is in
use, for example, to the left of this message box on my computer where a
subject is described or information is given. Sorry, can't do better than

Im currently working on a project to upgrade a company to Office 2007. First
i want to test this in my virtual environment. Currently it seems to work
fine until about 75% out in the installation on a client. Office installation

Office Ultimate 2007 Product ID
I am trying to get MS support for an installation problem of Office Ultimate
2007 and I am being asked for the product ID (not key). Since the product is
not installed, I cannot access the ID the way they explain. (It was a
download). Any ideas?

Finding Product Key
I purchased the Student Version online after a trial version, and there was
an option to have the key avaliable or something (in case you ever have to
reinstall Office). Well I lost the key and now I can't seem to find anything
on the website about how to get the key on Vista. I found one article but it
was only for older versions of Microsoft.
So does anyone know hwo to find the key?...

I purchased a new computer and office 2007 was purchased at the same time. I
got no disk and was told the software was preloaded. all i needed to do was
launch one of the programs and enter the product key code to activate. i can

Determining number of uses
I have Office Pro 2003 which I purchased separately & have used it on a
couple home computers (since you can use it on up to 5). I am not sure if I
used it on 4 or 5. One computer is now out of service so if possible it could
be removed from that one and the usage reused on another. Is there a way to
tell how many times I have used it? I need to send the software to my

Disabling Prompt where it wants user info
I have not been able to find on here how to disable the prompt you get when
users login to any Office program for the 1st time where it wants the
username and initials. Is there a GPO policy or something that can restrict

The sytem accepted the SBS key, no problems
It will not activate however.

entering product key
I purchased a 3 installation office 2007 and have succesfully installed it on
a desktop pc using XP and it is working fine. I installed the same disk on a
laptop using Vista and it installed fine but would not accept the letter "L"
in the product key. Said L was not a
legitimate key letter! It is now installed without the product key. How can
I get the product key installed?

Upgrading Office Home and Student 2007 to Office Standard 2007
I originally activated Office Home and Student 2007 on my laptop. Subsequent
to acquiring that license I began to use my laptop for a business. I read
the upgrade requirements for Office Standard as allowing an upgrade from any
version of Office 2000-2007 to mean that I could upgrade my license for

After downloading the program, I discoved Outlook was not there. I went back
to reinstall the progam and "Add" it in, It said "Not available". The primary
purpose for having office is to use Outlook. I am working with Windows XP
2002, service pack 3. If outlook is not going to come with the trial, I don't
