error 2718 on installation
No matter how many times I ran diagnostics and reinstallations of the
software the error persisted. I isolated the problem to a particular point
but am at a loss as how to get the problem resolved

problem with changing installation
I have installed MSOffice 2003, custom installation from CD, and have
not deleted the installation files.
Now, every time I need to modify my installation (add/remove features)
I am displayed the complete initial menu, and have to select again all
my choiches.
Why?
Where is the configuration of my installation?
In addition, can I define in a configuration file my preferred
installation?

Acer Hot Keys
I had Office 03 on my Acer Laptop no problems i then installed Office 07 and
my Hot Keys stopped working i removed 07 installed 03 working again i have

Error 1935 During Install
Hopefully someone has more information on this. I am getting this error when
I try to install Office 2007 Pro Plus on my Vista PC. I read this has
something to do with the .net 2 framework being corrupt however I cannot find
a way to reinstall the framework on a vista machine since it's part of the
OS.

every time I click on outlook/word/excel the configuring microsoft office

Possible effect of aborted installation?
When I bought a new computer my old Office 2003 disks would not install;
apparently I had already installed it on the maximum number of
computers. But I did successfully install an older version, Office
2002. The I bought new disks for Office 2007 and installed that

I bought the home/student edition and have installed it on 3 PC's. One of
the PC's has died and I will be buying a new laptop. Can I install the

GUI vs non-GUI and Programmatic installation.
Hi,
I recently had a problem because of the way the setup.exe behaves in Office
2007.
It was admitted only highlighted because the scripting methods I was using
made a mistake but it highlights an inconsitancy that is becoming more
prevalent in installers for MS products.
I had a script running that checked for the presence of O2K7 via registry

We have a user who insists on going back to Office 2003. I have read that it
is possible to install 2003 using the 2007 license, is this possible? If so

Automating office FULL multi-language pack 2007 installation...?

De-activating Office
I want to reformat my computer and do a clean install of the os and all
the software.
How should I de-activate my Office installation so that I can reinstall
it later and not be told that I have exceeded activation limits?

Oldie but goodie??
Have an old system(I mean old, win98se) I use as a backup and to try
different programs, etc. IOW- if it gets messsed up, who cares.
Had to install a new HD and here's the problem.
I've had Office 2k loaded on it for years.
Problem is my copy is an upgrade and it will not install unless another
office program is on the system.
Someone said I need to find an old full copy of OL, Word, etc...

Microsoft Office Document Imaging lockups
I have a Windows 2008 Server running Microsoft Office Basic 2003. We
use Microsoft Office Document Imaging to view multipage faxes saved
in .tif format.
This setup worked for several weeks, and then MODI began locking up
when opened. The .tif file opened would display, but the entirety of
the Windows desktop becomes unresponsive, except for alt-F4 will close
the frozen application.

Office Compatibility Pack Install Drive
I installed Office Compatibility Pack on my Asus but it has no option to
install on anything except the C drive. All of the programs are installed on
the D drive because of the limitations of the SSD. Does anyone know how to
install this on the D drive?

Installation question: multiple installations
Here is my situation:
(1) My company provides Microsoft Office, but they don't include OneNote or
Groove.
(2) I have installed OneNote 2007 trial (to try it out)
(3) I have a personally purchased Microsoft Office 2007 Enterprise (through
the home use program)
I would like to install OneNote and Groove from my personal Enterprise disk,

Clip Art setup problem?
I am running Office 2007 and I am having problem with Clip Art. It has been
terrific, then lately it is pitiful in that very few clip art appears. I
have nee searching the web for troubleshooting advise and haven't found much.
I have run a "repair." Nothing.
I have found that "web Collevtions does not seem to have anything. I try to
explore it and get nowhere.
Any suggestions?
