Office 2000 patch installation
Hi,
environment: Microsoft Windows XP Professional with Office 2000.
During the years MS has published a number of security patches for
Office 2000. When applying these, it requests the installation CD and,
as far as it looks to me, does a "dumb" re-install of the whole Office
package even though the patch was just for MS Word. As this process

Office Small Business 2007 w/Office Pro 2007 Trial - Invalid key
I purchased this product more than a year ago and now I've gotten around to
installing it onto my system. The problem is, to my surprise, is that the key
is invalid!
I'm a bit distressed as I can not install a product I paid for and now I'm

2002 upgrade to 2003
Hi
A little while ago, I posted a question on here but nobody replied to it. I
can't beleive there is nobody out there amongs you knowledgeable lot that
doesn't know the answer so here goes again.
I am currently using office 2002 pro and are just about to upgrade to 2003
pro (I don't like 2007, can't get on with it so will wait for next version to

missing cab
I had to re-install windows and now I am trying to install office 2003 again
from my cd. The installation stops and asks for the SKU011.cab, but this cab
is on the cd. When I try to copy the cab manually to the msocache, I get the
message that windows cannot read from the device. I guess that there is a
problem on this CD and I can't find the cab anywhere.
Can somebody send me a solution,...

I recently installed office professional 2007 trial. The 60 days expired and
I decided not to upgrade. My problem is that I can not unistall the program.
I have tried repeatedly to do so and it wont uninstall. Any ideas?...

Installing Office 2007 on Vista
I have a new HP TouchSmart all-in-one computer that came with Microsoft Works
but not Microsoft Office. I purchased a Student and Teacher version of 2007
Office but cannot get it to install on my computer. I tested the disc by
installing it (actually it was an upgrade) on my old machine and there was no

How to set up office 2003 on a second notebook
The trial version of Microsoft Office 2003 Student & Teacher Edition was
installed on my daughter's Presario V3000. I recently (9/17/08) activated it

Installing Office 2003 in parallel with Office 2007?
I have one system on which I need to run Office 2003 due to Macros and
Intrwoven integration (for work). However, I'd like to use Office 2007 for
other things. Can I install both systems on the same computer without
causing issues (WinXP OS)? If so, what do I need to do? Are there directions
somewhere that I can follow?

Correct way to upgrade Office 2007 SB Trial to Office 2007 Pro on
I have Office 2007 Small Business Trial installed on my Vista laptop. The
trial has expired a couple days ago. I purchased Office 2007 Pro on CD and
want to upgrade/install it. It's important that to retain Outlook
email/contacts/calendar. What is the best approach to the
upgrade/installation to not loose existing Outlook information?

install 2007 trial questions
Hi
I'm using Microsoft Office 2003 Professional and would like to try the
2007 trial
I presume this will install over 2003 in the C drive
When the trial period is over will my original 2003 settings return?
Is it possible to install the 2007 trial to an external drive to avoid
contaminating my 2003 settings?
Any helpful suggestions appreciated

Office Small Business Trial
I have downloaded the trial version of Office Small Business which is suppose
to include Outlook and Contact Manager. The Outlook Program will not download
and as a result I can't use the Contact Manager. Anyone know of a solution?...

Install Problem - Office Student 2007
Have installed Office 2007 - Student version.
When trying to open Word, it tries to go thru set up like first time, but
does not succeed. If I close the window and stop it, Word does open, but all
this takes a while. All other components work OK. It also will not complete
removal to try and re-nstall, or repair, Just gives message "Could not
successfully complete" and closes....

Product Key doesn't working
Hello,
I installed Windows Office 2007 Professional a while a go from a download
from MS web site. I've since bought a medialess Office 2007 Pro license (an
empty CD case) as my trial was coming to and end. I've tried putting in the
product key several times when the Office application asks for it upon
start-up but it keeps telling me it's invalid. What can the problem be?

Office 2007 normal.dot on Vista
I have office 2007 deployed in my domain and using group policy to point
user and workgroup template paths to a read only folder on the domain
server.....no problems with my XP clients but I've just added a Vista client
and everytime Word closes it tries to update normal.dotm (I don't have
normal.dotm only normal.dot) in the shared path.

Groove 2007 Failed Install
Our company runs 3.1 and bought Groove 2007 from a non profit donation
program. When installing we were asked for a groove server, which we've
never heard of and old identifiers from 3.1 did not work. Any suggestions?

Office 2007 Pro - Purchased Product Key, Can't Convert Trial
Hi All,
I've been trialling Office 2007 Pro for the last week, and the decision to
buy is a no-brainer - this product is superb. Installation of the trial
(replacing Office XP) went flawlessly.

Why does the confiuration wizard run every time I start an Office 2007
standard application. This is insane. I thought eventually the wizards would
chill out but no luck. Every time I start Word, excel or even an 3rd party
