Versioning customized Office installs
Is there a way to version different customizations of Office and Office
components? I didn't see a way to do an "internal version" or similar in the
OCT. We would want to make an internal version available via SCCM or other
inventory, whether in files or Registry (maybe both).
Thanks!...

Cannot change setting in Office 2007 MSP with the OCT
We had a customized MSP that was set to turn off the FILE | ARCHIVE setting.
We have found that this is not a good setting to have, so, need to change it
back (to Not Configured, I guess). Currently, it shows as enabled. When I
run the OCT (setup.exe /admin) and go to the setting and change it, then save
the MSP, it keeps reverting back to Enabled. I even tried setting it to
Disabled...

Documenting Office 2007 MSP settings from the OCT
We are looking for a tool to allow easy documentation and comparison of the
Office 2007 (and other Office components) OCT settings. I found a VBS script
on the MS site that you drop the MSP on, and get an XML dump, but...that's a
bit unreadable. Looking for a way to either export the settings to Excel,
or, provide a readable report maybe similar to a GPO Report as produced by
the GPMC....

New version of Office 2007 Setup.exe file?
When I downloaded and ran the Office 2007 ADM files, it says there would be a
new version of Setup.exe in the \Admin folder. There's not, and, I searched
through the whole download. The version I am currently using (presume the
original) is 12.0.4518.1014.
Now, I downloaded and extracted the ADM's on Windows XP, is the Setup.exe
ONLY for VISTA, so, I don't need a newer one, or, is the...

to activate Office 2003 programs. Everything else is up and running except
for MS Office. I have run Belarc but it isn't listing the key code for ...

What do I do know? I want to be able to use Word as my editor and
can't. Is there a way to just upgrade my Outlook now? How?
Thanks,
