Office XP preinstalled....where is product key?
Office XP Pro came preinstalled on my pc but i don't have the product key.
HELP!

Urgent Help: Office 2003 MUI Packs on Windows Vista.
Hi All,
I am trying to do an unattended installation of Office 2003 MUI pack on
Windows Vista. The installation is working fine but what I want is to set the
default office language to the one I am installing in MUI.
In Windows XP we used to set HKLM registry key for this, but in Windows
Vista it doesn't work because of registry protection feature.
Can anyone suggest how can I do t...

Duplicates after upgrade from 2K to XP
I had originally install Office 2000 Pro and all service packs. It installed
in \Program Files\Office.
I then installed the Office XP Pro upgrade. It installed into \Program
Files\Office10.
During the upgrade to Office XP I remember being asked a question similar to
"Did I want to remove the duplicates of the previous version? (Or something

I just installed and activated Office 2007 Enterprise on my notebook. Before
that, I tried to upgrade from Windows XP to Windows Vista but something went
wrong and Vista is half-installed but does not work. XP is working.
I want to install Windows Vista by reformatting the hard disk in order to

Office 2007 Enterprise and SMS 2003
Group, I have been working all week on trying to setp a package to push
Offcie 2007 out using SMS. We have succeffuly deployed 2003 this way but, of
course, all has changed. I have copied the Enterprise CD to the network

MS Office Image Writer
Hi,
We lost the link to MS Office Image Writer (some moron deleted it from the
list of printers) and IT is the only one with the holy "Install Key" grail.
I'm sure the drivers are still there, but how do we reinstall them?

Please Help! Business Contact Manager for Outlook 2007
It simply will NOT install.
I have tried ALL of the suggestions at:

Nothing works.
Office 2007 Small Business Edition installed perfectly.

Showing locked file by the admin who installed Office...
Occassionally, I will receive trouble tickets from the helpdesk that my user
ID is locking an excel file, but I don't have that XLS file opened. The user
can only open it in READ-ONLY mode. These files are new to me and there are
no reasons for me to open them in the first place.

Office 2007 on hard drive image
We've recently upgraded to Office 2007. We installed the application on one
computer and created an image. After deploying the image on several
computers, we've noticed a problem opening some files (Excel and Word mostly)

saved files shows wrong time
my computer shows the correct time and date (lower right hand tray), but when
I save a file the time displayed (date motified) is incorrect. I just saved
a file at 5/16/ 07 11:59 AM but the saved time for the file shows it to be
saved at 5/16/07 7:04 PM. Could you please show me where I need to go to fix
this error?

Office 2007 destroyed XP installation
These comments are not intended as a rant but in hope that someone at
Microsoft might find out and realise the damage being done to the
company's reputation.
Yesterday I decided to upgrade to Office 2007 and downloaded the trial

Programs Freeze after Installing Office 2003 Pro on Windows XP Pro
The troubleshooting we have tried so far:
*Disabling all startup items in safe mode and restarting the computer in
normal mode. (This does not help.)
*Downloading the updates for Office 2003 in safe mode with networking. (They
would only download, not install.)

The Office 2003 STE CD I have was recently damaged. I need to know a) where
to download the old trial version so that I can use the good key or b) how to

Window Vista in Documents
Hi again. I am just beginning to use Vista. I have used XP. It seems that
the left hand options (move, rename file, ...) used in XP are so much MORE
effective than the vista Documents view. Is there anyway to incorporate that
in an update file? Thanks.

Outlook 2007 crashes constantly - please HELP
Hi All
This is now taking away with all my patience. I cannot just run
Outlook 2007 in my laptop.
The situation is:
1. Had Office Professional 2003 installed earlier. Uninstalled that
properly.
2. Installed Office Enterprise 2007. Installation completed without
error.
3. Execute Outlook. First time it runs perfectly. No Issues.
4. Restart the machine.
