send to onenote from Internet Explorer glitch
I have a website that I routinely use the Send to Onenote icon to send
content to Onenote. I would highlight the part of the page I wanted, click
the Send to Onenote icon and would get my text, pictures and stuff sent to
the Onenote.
Lately, I've only been getting a link after clicking the Send to Onenote

I just purchased a new HP laptop (not a refurb!) and it came with a
OneNote license.
However, when I run OneNote, the activation dialog that pops up is for
"Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007".
When I type in the license from my auth certificate, which reads "HP
Microsoft(r) Office OneNote(r) 2007 (OEM)", I get
"The key is incorrect. Verify that you have the correct key, and then

cloud backup (like AWS-S3/Jungle Disk)
If I have a crash, or move to a new computer, is OneNote backed up,
completely, to AWS/Jungle Disk? I have been trying to test it. It opens fine,
but I am not sure if the "cloud disc" is using info on my computer or not. I
am going to ask this question over at Jungle Disk too....

Is there a way to paste link in One Note, so that the informaition updated
flows to another page.
(example: The first page of the project description include the resource
for each section, the section also has the resource's name. I am looking for
a way enter the informaition one time and One Note to update both areas).
Is this possible in One Note?

How to import Word docs into One Note?
I have a large number of Word docs that are all organized in various folders,
subfolders, etc. in my My Documents folder. I would like to be able to bring
them over into OneNote. I know how I can bring over the folder structure,
but not the contents of the folder. I know how to bring them over one by one
as 'printouts' but that does not allow for editing.
Anyone have other ways?

Problem saving page templates
I am trying to create a page template to share with my colleagues. I
followed the directions from MS as specified here:

SYNC does not work
Nope it does not work.
I keep on files on usb stick.
When I plug my stick and open ON, ON automatically sync the files.
But when I select the sync from the menu, I dont get any window whatsoever.
I closed the notebooks, emptied the cache, reopened them...
Uninstalled and reinstalled ON....
Nope sync window does not appear at all....
I use ultimate vista office 2007

Make all notes appear on mobile device
I'm new to Onenote. I started to use this in the hope it would work better
than synchronising Outlook notes to my mobile device. I'm trying to get used
to Onenote's capabilities before I actually switch over to it fully.
I have a NAS where I will my Onenote notes. I'm using Vista WMDC and Onenote
is set up ok. On my mobile device all I see are notes on my mobile device.

Indexing and .pdf files
I installed the evaluation version of OneNote 2007 and it looks very
usefull.
Let me ask three very basic questions:
1) Can OneNote 2007 cohexist with Office 2003?
2) how can I enable the option to search for words included in documents
included in OneNote?
3) how can I enable indexing .pdf files?

One Note General Questions and Sync with Windows Mobile 6
I cam considering purchasing One Note for use in my small business. I have a
few questions I would like information on prior to purchaseing. We currently
use Outlook extensively in the business.

OneNote 2007 Audio Troubles
Hi all,
So I was having microphone issues when recording in onenote, so I bought an
external mic. It was working fine but some of my recordings are there but i
cant hear them...i can see the playback index the notes i took but cant hear
the voices. what did i do wrong? myabe its a setting thing? and can i

More color with "Font Color" and "HighLight" area
Hi
When using OneNote 2007, I found in "Font Color" and "Highlight" default
button have very limited color to choose. Font Color have 40 color, and
Highlight have 15.
Is it possible to have more color?

Spellcheck for Outlook Express

Reconnect to Live Sharing Sessions
I teach math in a small private school. All my students have tablets, and I
do all my lectures as live sharing sessions, so each student can contribute
if invited and will have a copy of the notes afterwards.
Unfortunately, when I start a new live sharing session each day it creates a

I remember being able to select the section I wanted to print to, rather than

onepkg
Hello
So I saved my OneNote notebook to a .onepkg.
I am now trying to reopen that .onepkg and I am getting an error that says
that I am using an incorrect version of the software and asks me to try to
repair.
It then fails on the repair.
What am I doing wrong? This is extremely inmportant data dn loosing it would
be well very very bad.

Programtically adding Inks to page
Hi
I would like to create OneNote 07 addin.
1) How can I add custom toolbar and button to OneNote? I found IOneNoteAddIn
but it has no tolbars/buttons interfaces.
2) I will add new section and page and want to add Microsoft Ink to the
page. I guess I have to serialize Ink and craft some XML, but I connot find
any explanation or API.
