Image Importer Wizard
Hello:
I have a large Microsoft Word file containing mostly graphics but with some
intermittent text scattered throughout the document. I am looking for a
technique to export my word file to a power point file in such a way that
each of the graphics in the Word document shows up as a graphic on a
different PowerPoint slide. Also the text beneath each graphic should appear

No Sound in PowerPoint File Sent to me
I received an email with a PowerPoint attachment. On my work computer the
Christmas carol in the ppt file plays. On my home computer, no audio plays in
PowerPoint. I opened up the main volume control in the Control Panel and made
sure everything except Mic was unchecked in "Playback" and every volume
control turned up to max. I played Real Player and WMP files, all had sound.

power point auto open
Previously, when someone sent a ppt/pps presentation via e-mail, all I had to
do was click on the attachment and view. I must have changed something
somewhere because now it opens to Word and not viewable. What can I do to
restore the correct auto open feature?

COMPATIBILITY MODE ???
I have Office 2007
I read that if I set PowerPoint 2007 to always be in Compatibiity Mode (so
that I can send files to colleagues who have PPT 2003), the PPT 2007 Smart
Objects will be replaced with the equivalent (or similar) from PPT 2003.
For example, I have PPT 2007 and want to insert an Org Chart in a new slide,
but want it to be just like an org chart in PPT2003. BUT...the only o...

Keeping PPT 2003 & PPT 2007
I have both PPT v2003 and v2007. I would like to keep each of them on a
single Windows XP system for ease in supporting my customers. When I install
PPT 2007 it "overlays" PPT 2003 and I can only access PPT v2007. I did not
find an option of other method to allow the two products to be kept separate.
Is there a way that both of these versions can co-exist on a single Windows
XP syste...

Customized swatch button
Hi there,
I'm trying for a toolbar with which I can create my own color swatches
instead of entering values each and everytime as default palette gets
overwritten with new value. I have about 20 colors to use in each file.
Now, I can create a macro for each color. But I want that macro to appear as
a button with the same color swatch so that I can recognize the swatch. I'm
ok till ...

Two presentations, two separate displays
How do I compare or edit two different presentations on two separate
displays/monitors in Powerpoint 2007? I have a multiple flat-panel monitor
setup. The "side-by-side" view on one display in one running version of
Powerpoint isn't satisfactory.
In the 2003 version, you'd simply run two instances of Powerpoint and you
could easily view each on its own display. I cannot seem to figure o...

Animations in Acrobat 8
In a class, which used "Classroom in a Book Acrobat 8", we converted a PP
presentation with animations to a pdf. The resulting pdf maintained the
animations.
Back in my office, I have, however, been unable to convert this presentation
to a pdf, using Acrobat 8 Pro, and keep the animations.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Backwards compatability issues 2007 --> 2003
I am curious to find out any workarounds that might exist for known
compatibility issues when working in 2007 on files destined for earlier
versions (specifically 2003). My initial forays have been disappointing.
Specifically, I am having issues with:
1. font formatting - loss of letterspacing and all caps settings
2. layout templates losing a vast majority of their customization:

PowerPoint to Word in 2-slides-per-page Format
I need to print PowerPoint 2007 slides to Word 2007 in 2-slides-per-page
handout format. Most of the other formats are available for this function,
but not this one. The only way I have found to do it within Office is
printing to OneNote from PowerPoint, then importing into Word.
Is there a way to print directly into Word? Why are the other formats
available, but not this one? Are there...

Cannot see formatting on slide, only on slide show. Why?
I added a color pic to my slide show and changed it to grayscale. Every time
I preview the slide show (by pressing F5), it shows it as full color. I'm
also right-clicking on the slide to change the background color, select the
color and it will not apply to the slide. I can only see it on the preview.
The same for the font color. I'm used to working in the 2003 version. I
