Contacts, copying entry?
Hi Guys,
I can copy an existing contact into a group. I cannot it seems make a
copy of a contact, so that e.g. I can have two contacts entries with
differing nicknames but all other details duplicated. Can a contact be
so duplicated, if so how?

can not retrieve
I downloaded windows live mail to replace my windows mail. i loved it and
began using. then, a popup suggested i download live hotmail for when i am
away from my computer. i did so and suddenly i had this strange mail setup
that i did not care for and tried to get back to live mail and it had
disappeared. so, i deleted the hotmail in uninstall programs and then

Refresh problems
I´ve been using WLM for more than a year, and all versions have the same
refresh problem with the number of unread mails. I have to double click in my
Inbox to force a refresh.
Also sometimes my drafts folder has unread mails, from a month ago....

Import Live email folders in to Outlook
I purhcased a new computer and have set upt Outlook to be the catcher for all
of my email accounts. I had created storage folders on my live mail on my
old system. How do I import these folders in to Outlook. It is not
recogiznzing the folders as a pst. Thanks!...

Photo E-mails Stopped working -- But it still sends it
A couple of days ago, my WLM Photo e-mail stopped functioning. WLM is the
default mail server. I use a comcast e-mail account. I have Picasa3(new
update) and IE 7.
I can launch a WLM Photo-e-mail just fine...no errors, etc.....it sends it
fine (because I see a copy in the sent inbox), but it never reaches the
recipents......
I tested this several times sending test photo e-mails to myse...

how to set defult mail id
Hi All,
I have 4 mail Ids like (Yahoo,Gmail,Offical Mail.....) i been using that in
windows live mail but the problem is that when ever i click on new mail it
is showing my yahoo id , i want my offical mail id to set as defult how can i
do is there any one can tell me

cannot type in text box
Hello!
I begin a new message, and fill in my contact and subject with success, but
I cannot click in text box and type any text. I also notice the tool bar is
not illuminated.
If anyone has some info to help me out, I would be grateful.

WLM does not support URL's with fragments?
If I receive an email with a URL that uses a fragment (the #):
i.e: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/magazine/dd148642.aspx#id0070032
WLM will open up the page in the browser, but it will not navigate to the
anchor on the page. This does work in Outlook, either using Exchange or the
Windows Live Mail connector.
Is this intentional or a bug? Will it get fixed? It is quite annoying....

Can not Start WLMD. Error (0x800706BA)
I can not open live mail desktop beta the latest beta.
Its says
"You calendar contains curropt data that is forcing windows live mail to
close. (0x800706BA)

German spell checker in Windows Live Mail Beta?
I had Windows Live Mail installed with the German spellchecker I downloaded.
Worked great. Then a friend suggested "upgrading" to Windows Live Mail Beta
and now I cannot find a German spellchecker anymore. I wished I had stayed
with Windows Live Mail
Is there a way to install a German spell checker into Live Mail BETA? If
not, how do I revert to the non-beta Live Mail without losing my ...

Windows Mail text disappears
After typing about 1 and half page of text for outgoing mail, the text
disappears. Talk about frustrating. Now I type the text in Works, save
it and copy/paste to the mail text box and send. Any reason for the
disappearance other than pressing a wrong key?

BCC From Contact List
When attempting to send mail to BCC from Contact List, even though BCC has
been selected and cursor appears there, the addresses from Contact List
appear in To: area thus defeating purpose of BCC. This is a new
occurrence/phenomenon....

My Sharing Folders
My Sharing Folders is situated on 'My Computer' page. However, each time I
check my live Hotmail a shortcut to My Sharing Folders is produced in 'My
Documents' folder and I'm getting fed-up deleting this unwanted pest - it is
worse than a bleedin' virus! Anyone outthere knows how to stop this
happening please?
If not I'm ready to leave Hotmail for good - remember how good it used to be? ...

still can't access my hotmail
This is the third week I have been trying to access my hotmail account. I
have 700 emails waiting for my attention! Please help!
The error message is:

Multiple problems with Windows Live Mail
I am on VistaSP1.Everything else running OK.(Home Premium)
W L M...........all writing from Inbox ,right to the bottom all jumbled
up,also font,and all above email writing window jumbled.Can't send
emails,images being blocked that work perfectly in Hotmail,Aol,Yahoo.

All emails have disappeared
All my emails have disappeared, using POP3 account. There one day gone the

autofill for addresses in WLM
Hi there everybody,
I have a problem with Windows Live Mail 12.0.1606 - when I open a new e-mail
and want to add the address I can type the first letter of the name/address
but then instead of getting names or e-mail addresses that start with this
letter I get a lot of nonsense names with the corresponding addresses that

Can receive without any problems. ISP unable to fix problem. Error reads

Windows Live Mail Doesn't Shut Down
Sometimes when I exit Windows Live Mail on my XP Media Center it doesn't
completely shut down. The icon is still in the system tray. I can still
right click and open it right up. If I choose to close through the system
tray icon, I always have trouble reopening Windows Live Mail. I receive the

Password
I have never had a password for my email. It must be set to automatic,
however, I don't know it. How do I reset it if I don't know what it is?
