unable to move messages to Storage/Inbox folder
I am running Windows Vista 64-bit.
I just transferred my email to a new computer and I can't move any messages
to Storage folders/Inbox folder. When I attempt to do that, I get
"Unknown error has occurred" followed by "The selected message could not be
moved, An error has occurred"
I can move messages to Storage folders/Received and other folders. Does
"Inbox" folder have any spec...

headers is too large in reading panel
headers is too large in reading panel. almost half of reading panel was
occupied by headers. maybe you will suggest me to hide headers, but if I do
this, I can't get the attachments in reading panel...

get unread messages from WL Messenger with Windows Live Mail
Hello,
i installed the version 2009 of Windows Live Mail and Messenger.
With the previous versions, when someone was sending me a message off-line
with messenger on my hotmail address, the message was loaded shown in windows
live mail. It was very useful i think.
But now i see this is not the case anymore. Is it normal? Is there a setting
to change?

Windows Mail and AOL Mail
HELP!
I was fooling around trying to learn windows mail, and accidentally
transferred ALL my new and old AOL mail to the windows account. It is GONE
from AOL. How can I get it back? I cannot seem to send anything using the
windows mail program. I get an error, some sort of POP , I think. Thanks!...

Print Preview
How can I get a print preview of an e-mail so I can tell which pages I want
to print? There is print preview in the browser window but none in the mail
application. I am using Windows Live Mail on a computer using VISTA Home
Premium with SP/1

Need to recover old e-mail from outlook (or outlook express?)
My old computer died. I got a new one. In the process, I changed from some
flavor of Outlook (I think Express) to Live Mail. I had a disk back-up, so I
was able to recover the .pst file from Outlook.
How do I get at my old e-mails from the old machine?

windows live mail HELP!!!
i have windows live mail 12.0.1606.1023 (Vista Home) which has worked
perfect.
while visiting family and using Dial Up i was downloading mail and it
was taking forever...i had to get off the phone line, so i "x" out of
wlm and turned computer off while download was still in

How to reset WLM / WLMSGR ??

I want to know how I can reset the Windows Live Mail program Desktop from

Currently it's takes less memory to open up IE7 versus Windows Live Mail

How do I get IMAP connection to save Sent and Deleted mails?
I am connecting to an IMAP server using WLM 14.0.8050.1202 on a Vista 64bit
machine but am having some serious troubles with some basic functionality.
WLM shows me the Inbox just fine, but when I either send or delete a
message, I cannot get that message to show up in the appropriate IMAP server
folder. Sent messages show up in the local "Sent items" folder. Deleted

Disable Purging Messages
hi,
can anyone tell me how to completely disable purging messages with windows
live mail? under tools-options-maintenance i unticked all the boxes, there
is nothing checked, but still every time i exit mail client, it starts purge
messages and then gives error. because it comes up with error that purging
was not successful it is really annoying, need to click OK every time. i'm
using gm...

something missing at the bottom right corner of WLM
Hello, Until today, 25th DEC., there used to be 2 small boxes at the bottom
right corner of my WLM window. One indicated if I was on-line or not, the
other indicating if it was receiving mails or no new messages. I don't see
them anymore. How can I get them back ? Thank you.

Compose Message Window Problem
I wasn't sure if this has been solved before, but i wasn't sure what to
type to find the solution myself.

reply box is teeny, and won't maximize to the full extent of the window.

why windows live mail?
all of a sudden i have been getting log-on prompts for windows live-mail on
my computer. i have been using outlook express and am quite happy with it.
i don't understand how windows live-mail got on my computer in the first
place. was it downloaded with xp sp3?
how do i keep it from intruding?

Yesterday I started getting an error message when I try to send or receive
email from Windows Live Mail:

Return to Inbox after Delete
Where is the setting to change the "delete" behavior so that, when you have a
message open and click "delete", it returns to the inbox instead of opening
up the next message? I've looked through every dialog box and can't find it....

What's the quickest way to publish a screen grab on the web?
I have live photo gallery, live mail and some live web space
And to publish a simple screen grab i have to take screen prt - paste it to
MS word to crop it - paste it in MS Paint to save it as Jpeg (reduce file
size) - then copy the picture into a folder - open photo gallery - find the
picture and publish it in my live web space
