seeing pictures in email
I am using Vista, and Windows Mail. Most emails have a bar at the top "Some
pictures have been blocked to help prevent the sender from identifying your
computer. Click here to download pictures".
I generally click anyway, as the emails are from reputable sources. How do I
make this bar disappear, and allow pictures to download automatically?

hotmail not working since 11-3
Since the change to the new format, on my desktop I can look at my inbox, but
can't call up any messages. A "loading..." messages appears in the lower left
screen. The scroller blinks, everything is sludgy. It locks up. The thing I
can't figure out is that my laptop runs the new hotmail fairly well. The only
difference I can think of is that my desktop runs Norton Utilities. ????

Cannot send emails
I have a Comcast account and was able to send and receive emails just fine in
my Windows Live account, but now I am getting the following error message:

download to folder feature - what happened - How do I do it now?
I would like my messages to automatically download to a folder of my choice.
I used to be able to do this in my OE but the feature seems to be lost? Is
this still available? If so can anyone tell me how to activate it?

Storage folders: delete is greyed out

Printing Problem
Is there a way to adjust the print size in the body of a received email?
Short emails end up printing on two sheets of paper because the type is
so large, perhaps 12 or 14 pt. Thanks.

International tab in safety options
I have checked all boxes except the US in the 'Top Level Domain List' yet I

Bounce back mail to sender
If I check the option to bounce back email to sender will it (hopefully) clog
their system to the point that their ability to send junk mail will
deminished? Or, will it just confirm that they have hit on a good address?...

Live mail will not stop checking
I have live mail set to ONLY check for mail at startup, the other option for
check every xxmins is unchecked. However it still continues to check every
one minute. Consequently I get so much spam that mailwasher misses because
live mail is checking every minute. Up until August I was using OE6 with no

live mail mapi complaint
Is windows live mail mapi complaint. I just picked up a new web cam,
logitech, and in the web cam application for sending pictures and video
clips, it has a tab for sending such. when I click on the tab it opens
windows mail that comes w/vista because its a mapi compliant email

Gets weirder and weirder,
Not only has the 'junk mail' button not been performing for a while,
today it has disappeared entirely from both toolbars and the function is
greyed out in the menus.
Noticed a problem too with 'block sender's domain', all very well unless
it's Gmail or one of the other generics.
Think I might need a repair?

Cannot edit calendar events
I get the following error when trying to change the reminder time for a
contact's birthday from my "Birthday Calendar"
"You don't have permission to change the event "Maggie's Birthday". Ask the
calendar owner for permission, and then try again."
How can I change the reminder for this calendar? I would really like to
change the default reminder time for new additions to this calendar ...
