want WLM not LM
Hi,
For 18 months I have used Vista with WLM working fine. All of a sudden
this weekend, couldn't SEND emails in WLM or my other computer with XP
and OE, but was able to recieve OK. After calling Comcast, they had me
open OE & WMail & changed the port from 25 to 587. Now I can send &
receive emails OK in WMail & OE, BUT I want WLM back as all our folders,
etc are in there & from what I read WLM ...

Flag message not working across WLMD
Hi,
I have WLMD installed on two computers - work and home and I primarily use
hotmail on WLMD. If I flag a message at my work computer, I do not see the
flag on the home computer and vice versa. Is this feature not supported ?

Photo Mail Problem
Dear MS
I think WLM is full of problems. I have two problems as below
1 - When I try to make a new photo mail and open the pictures, the pics do
not appear in Message body (and neither as attachments)
2 - I want to use English (UK) as my spell check language but this is not
available in Options menu and also that I cannot add a language.
Please help, I am currently using version 12...

IMAP Folders full
Hi.
I've got Windows Live Mail.
My IMAP Folders from laposte.net are full but I've emptied them all and
still it said it's 72% full I don't understand! Ii've emptied DRAFT, OUTBOX,
QUARANTINE and TRASH and my INBOX as well. Is there any others folders hidden
somewhere? Please help me as I can't receive any e-mail from laposte.net any
more.

windows live mail start up
I have 4 e-mails account that I check with WLM, every time I opem WLM it ask
me for password, its ok, but even if a click cancel he still open and showing
all my accounts.
Its any way of to set this up for do not let it open if I do not enter a
password?

Beta made it SLOWER and Can't post PHOTOS
I signed-in for Beta because it says it will make my window live faster. So
far it made it slower. Another observation is that I can't post my JPG
photos. When I receive photos, I can't view them fully unless I extract them
from the attached bar. If this goes on longer I have to uninstall Beta....

Live Mail Sorting?
I just reloaded my Vista Ultimate and re-downloaded
WLM version 12.0.1606. When I sort my newsgroup messages
by descending date, it's in strict date order and doesn't keep
threads together. I could swear that before the reload it didn't
work that way. I looked through the menus but I don't see an
option to keep groups together. Is my memory totally whack
or has something changed since I...

No Send Page or Link by E-mail in IE8 Beta 2
I'm using Windows XP SP3, IE8 Beta 2 & WLM Wave 3. After installing WLM Wave
3, I no longer can Send Page or Link by E-mail within IE8, it's actually
greyed out. I use this quite often when sending URL's to friends or family.
Is anyone else having this same problem? The Send command is under the File
menu in IE8. I don't know if this is a problem with WLM or IE8 or both? Thx!

Beta "inconveniences"
I've used Mail Desktop's new beta from the day it was downloadable on
download.live.com, and so far I've noticed the following

OE to WLM Contacts - is there a better way?
It took me about an hour to discover a work-around to get all my OE/WAB
contacts to appear complete in WLM.
When they automatically imported from OE, many names did not import. Being
familar with using CSV files I decided to export my addresses from OE/WAB and
try to import them into WLM. In that manner the names where complete, but

Uninstall/re-install from Windows Live Beta back to Windows Live 1
I have been having a problem with entering multiple contacts in the "TO" line
when using the contacts list window. I also get an error message everytime I
start Windows Live Beta that says, "Sorry, and unexpected error has occcured
and Windows live needs to close" if you click the "OK" button, WL closes.

I was trying the new Windows Live Mail Beta, uninstalled it and
reinstalled the stable version.
I now get this error message when I try to open Live Mail:
"Windows Live Mail could not be started because one of its libraries

importing error
Hi,
I exported my Windows Live Mail accounts to a .iaf file. I reloaded windows
Vista and loaded Windows Live Mail again. Before I did anything in WLM I
went to import all my account information (Tools/Accounts/Import) and get
the following error:
"The import did not complete because an account with the same settings
already exists."
Any Ideas????

How to file bug reports
I have run across 2 bugs that are bugging me (sorry, couldn't help myself).

WLM loses connectivity
Anyone else see this? Recently, I'll notice that something has been sitting
in my Outbox for much longer than the 5 minutes I have as an automatic
send/receive interval. I'll click on Send/Receive at the top and up pops a
note that "the Internet is not available, try again?" Hitting Yes will do a
good send and receive, and from then on things seem to work okay... until the
next time, ...

What does the Junk button on the toolbar do exactly?

searching in stored emails
Why is it no longer possible to search in the msg body of emails with
hotmail/live mail (using the webmail interface)? What is the point of
being able to store email messages if it's not even possible to search
the contents of all those emails?
