Take a picture or record video during video call
I have a Logitech web cam. The Logitech software allows me to take a picture
or record video of my web conversation. Is it possible to do this in Live
Messenger?

How do I remove Double Contacts in Live 8.5
Hi
I recently re-installed Live 8.5 and now my contacts have doubled. IE i have
2 of everyone on my list. It also doubled my "folders". The contacts are
not necessarly in the same folder as before, and not in the correct ones.
Meaning if I have a "Friends" folder, there are two of them, One folder will
have say 10/75 and the other will have 45/100 online. Some folders have

junk mail, accidently blocked?
I accidently hit the junk email for an address that is
good. Is their a way to notify msn that it was a mistake?
Already deleted out of the blocked email list?
I think it may have been reported to msn?

I have been getting this error code for about 4 days now, could someone

Windows Live Communications Platform has stopped working.
please help i try to sign into windows live (i think it's 9) and it just
says Windows Live Communications Platform has stopped working and stops
me logging in. doesn't explain why just decides it's going to not bother
logging in, please help it's very frustrating.

Unable to sign in to Windows Live Messenger on Windows Mobile
It seems that lots of people are having trouble to sign in to Messenger from
a Windows Mobile device.
Is there any solution to these problems?
I have WinMobile 6.1 standard and when I try to sign in, it tells me "there
is a problem with the server".
If i sign in with my secondary account, which has no contacts at all, it
works...

Windows Live Messenger - Always on top
I did a search and didn't find this posted. Sorry if it has been before.
Every time someone sends an IM with Windows Live, the window pops up on
top of whatever else I'm doing. Not just new IMs but every single time I
minimize the convo window, it pops back up again. The "always on top" is
NOT checked. None of the other IM services I use do this. Please Help!

Search Enhancement Pack
Hi
Installed XP SP3, followed by latest Windows Live Messenger - version 2009
(does not say 'Beta').
Everytime after booting the machine, a window called "Microsoft" pops up
showing in (only) a folder called "Search Enhancement Pack"
Could someone help me find a way to remove this pop up window (without

WLM 9 NOT WORKING ON XP SP 3
hi, i recently downloaded wlm 9 beta, then it started updating itself after
the installation. i can not sign in to my mesenger account with my windows
live id which is not from hotmail, (@gmail.com) i also tried signing in with

Major Issue Regarding Windows Live Messenger build 14.0.8050.1202!
I've recently downloaded the latest version of Windows Live, and whenever I
try to sign into Messenger, this error window appears, declaring:
Windows Live Communications Platform has stopped working.
I'm wondering, why is this the case? After all, this isn't classified as a
BETA version of the software, so how is this happening?
Just in case, I run Windows Vista....

Hand writing doesn't work
Hi at all...
I have a problem with Windows Live Messenger 8.5 and 9... the hand
writing doesn't work!
When I click on the symbol to activate it WLM doesn't respond to
anything... after 1 minute WLM re-works but not the hand writing...
My OS is Windows Vista Ultimate x64 and time ago it works fine!
Can someone explain me why doesn't it work?

Problems messaging contact
I was messaging one contact fine and suddenly I cannot send or receive
anything from them. I keep getting the "cannot be sent to all contacts"
message. I restarted my computer and tried again and no luck. I could send
messages to other contacts though. Any suggestions as to why this would
happen?...

My daughter got a dell inspiron laptop with windows vista, and for some
unknown reason we cannot access the windows instant msngr, without the
error code 8007005 appearing, please help with this problem as it is
very frustrating, ive been sat here for an hour and a half trying to fix

MAC OS - 7.1 MSN - Some contacts are not shown as online although they are
I have no idea what is going on. I have also connected to my MSN
Messenger account from my colleague's PC and still no go.
Say; I see five contacts in my list who are online and they can see
me. However, others who I know are online cannot see me and I cannot
see them.
This is weird!

Need Help about "Sharing Application - Desktop" in Windows Messeng
I tried and failed to share application with another live messenger user. Pop
up showed me "Connecting............." and then time out. My fren tried to
share application to me, when I pressed "Accepted", Pop up keep showing
"Waiting........" and then failed to get connected.

Unable to send typed messages - no send button
Hope someone can help. I can type messages in but there is no send button and
as soon as I press return I get the following message

Contacts move from a specific group to "Other Contacts" group ?
Hello,
today, when I logged to one of my WLM account, my contacts were not
anymore in their respective WLM group but were moved to the "Other
Contacts" group.
So actually, I have 100 contacts approx in the Other contacts group.
My question is "why" and is it possible to restore those contact to
their original group ?

Help! Windows Live 8.5 Error
Hi,
I'm new to the forum and I need some help. I just got a new laptop with
Vista Basic and installed 8.5. Everything seemed fine till last week,
when I did Video Calls or Sending Nudges no sound would be heard. Then
yesterday all emotcions stopped showing. I have tried advice of
Microsoft and re-installed but nothing has worked. Can anybody help me.
