Not receiving messages when initiated by contacts
When one of my contacts initiate a conversation with me on Windows Live
Messenger they get bounced (undeliverable to all recipients). This only
started this morning and I've tried absolutely everything I can think of.
Even used a friend's log in to see if it is something with my system but did
not have the same problem as with my log in.
Please can anyone assist? This is very frustrati...

live messenger
i have just downloaded the new windows live messenger, after a period of time
its logs off automatically and then it logs off, can any tell me why it does
that? when i was running version 7.5 i never had this problem ?...

Windows Live Messenger
Hou can I set up via administratives policies that the message history of the
Windows Live Messenger can not be erased? Also I'd like to set up the
directory where it will be stored and do not allow the user to change it to
somewhere.

Beta Taskbar Flash

message in a conversation....

Error Code 8004827d
I received this error code a few days ago after trying to login to my msn, i
have tried uninstalling and reinstalling msn messenger 8 5 times and continue
to get the same error. Does anyone know who to fix this problem? I do not
know what to do...

Webcam problem
I have a problem when trying to send my webcam on Live Messenger. Each time
I try to click on "Send webcam", the program completely freezes. I can
adjust the settings and see that the camera does indeed work, since it is
pretty new. I am using a Logitech QuickCam. It also does the same thing with
a Creative Pro Webcam. Any ideas on what is causing this crash? Thanks...

why is WLM not working with My vista
i have buisness vista on an a 32 bit laptop, i install it, and load it, it
loads into system services but nothing happens nd i get rid of the task
either its like it crashes that program...

i cant get to view or send my webcam to certain contacts on WLM
um with certain contacts, we cant get to view each other's webcam but with
other contacts we can. anyone knows how to fix this? i don't think its a
firewall problem because i don't have any enabled and as i said, it only
happens with certain contacts...

Windows Live Messenger 8.5 do not install.
I click on "Install_WLMessenger.exe and a box opens. I select "accept" but it
does not open any download.
If I click on "ES_Install_WLMessenger_8_5.exe", the download box opens....

Stinky Yahoo Deserves Severe Punishment.
Hi:
Yahoo stinks like kakaa. F-k these @$$holes.
You can no longer chat on their website. You have to download and
install messenger or other chat softwares, putting you at risk for
viruses.
Last year, you could simply use "Chat 2.0" [a non-Java web-based
client software] on http://chat.yahoo.com
I hate yahoo and want to punish them badly. I seriously feel like

Is consistancy too much to ask for?
How come both Outlook (2003 at least haven't used 2007) and Windows Live
Mail CLOSE when you push the X and minimize to tray when you push Minimize
(with the option to hide the window in the tray icon context menu) but Live
Messenger Minimized to tray on X and Minimizes in the normal manner when the
minimize button is clicked? Can you PLEASE make Live Messenger behave like
the other two?...

Beta 8.5 - Unable to Disable "Show Windows Live Today After I Sign
It is my preference not to use Windows Live Today.
I installed Beta 8.5 and unchecked the "Show Windows Live Today After I Sign
In To Messenger" box on the general tab of the Options. When I click either
"OK" or "Apply" and then "OK", the Options Window closes but does not save my
preference. As a result, each time I open Beta 8.5, the Windows Live Today
window opens and I have to close...

The following message could not be delivered to all recipients
What causes this? I have seen this asked before but some say it is a server
issue some say just log out and log in and it should fix it. Others say its
the handwritting. I want to know what actually causes this and if its more
than one thing thats fine but I would like to know what causes this and just
not some one saying do this or that to get it to work without saying what

im having problems logging into my messenger. i keep getting error code
81000314 that the service is temporary unavailable but my husband has windows
live messenger and im able to log into his. doesnt make any sense to me...

incorrect routing from email link
when i click the email icon to check my hotmail form the messenger window it
now opens a browser window with the following address:
http://html.com/
i don't know why it does this, but i do know that it's not suppose to.
After I close it and then do the same thing again, it will route correctly
to my windows live mail . Any ideas, or has anyone had the same problems??

Live messenger keeps crashing my system
Hi,
Each time i use live messenger to speak with someone my PC crashes. If i
reamin offline there is no problem and if i make myself online still no
probs. But if i chat to someone then within a few minutes my PC will simply
turn off and i will recieve a serious recovery message when it restarts.
Is there something i can do??
I've re installed etc and that didn't help

Need Help - WLM keeps signing off
Hello,
I recently just formatted my computer and now when i use windows live
messenger, version 8.1, it signs off ever 5 mins or so. It is very
frustrating and i cant work out the problem.
Its not my connection, theres no other msn installed on my computer, its not
my account (it works on other computers), i just cant work out what it is.
Can anybody help? Thanks....

Live Messenger Hangs

I have problems getting Live Messenger working with XP. I have just
reinstalled XP so it should be a clean installation. I have installed SP2,
ie7 and all updates. What is wierd is that Live messenger worked before I
installed sp2. The problem is that Messenger hangs after pressing the "singn

My status is always offline when I run WLM 8.5
Getting a bit annoyed with this... whenever I run WLM 8.5, it shows my
status as "offline". I am much too absent minded to keep turning it back to
"online" each time. How can I fix this?
Also a feature suggestion: Make it an option to set how you want to appear
each time you run Messenger without going through the rigmarole of changing
it from the default each time.

Webcam Problems
Hello Everyone and thanks for your help in advance. I am running Messenger
8.1 and am trying to have a video call with another user who has a HP7200
Vista Ultimate with built in webcam. They are able to see and hear me,
however, I can only hear them. I am using a Windows XP Pro and a Logitech
