Can't remove old SBS 2003 DC
I've migrated an SBS-2003 to new hw according to "Migrating Windows Small
Business Server 2003 to New Hardware"
(http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc747454.aspx), everything went
fine except when I got to the last step "To create an alias" of the old
server name on page 32 when it failed.
I demoted and disconnected the old server from the domain and as I thought

How to migrate from W2k to 2003/2008 changing Hw?
Hi,
I have a net with only one DC running on win2000 server.
Now OS and hardware are obsolete and I need to migrate to newer ones.
Exchange 2000 and SQL2000 server are running on the same DC too.
How can I migrate to windows 2003 or 2008 on another machine without loose
every settings and configuration?
Is it possible (in one step or more)?

I have 2 separate windows 2003 print servers that I would like to put on new
hardware and make them 2008 servers. I would then like to cluster them.
What tools can I use to migrate the printers? What happens to all the
workstations that have the printers installed by server name? Will I have

We have a customer here in Brazil with the following needs:
Migrate the Novell 6.0 plataform (NDS, File Server, Print Server) to Windows
Server 2008 plataform.
How is this possible only with Microsoft Tools? Maybe migrate all data to

How to Import dhcp.txt exported from 2003 into 2008
I've setup a new 2008 server. Among other things, I've installed the dhcp
service on the server. I'd like to import the leases and settings from the
active dhcp server running on Windows 2003. I've been able to find similar
references for the process, but not for the Server 2008 DHPC server. It
doesn't seem to be able to accept the dhcp.txt file I exported from Server
2003.

I have exchange installed on my domain controller(inherited the setup), how
