Lock and write
If you use "Lock this profile" the user isn't able to write anything to "my documents". But he should be able to do that. How is that possible? Without unlocking the profile. Thanks. ...

Permissions, Objects, Location
Is it possible to grant a Group on a Windows XP Pro machine access to a share on another machine ? i.e. machine0\Users. Both are in the same WORKGROUP. Removed "Log Off" - Need to login as Administrator
I had thought that I had completed all of the setup I needed on a shared Internet access PC, and removed the Log Off functionality from the Start menu. i have the option hidden files not shown on the student account, then with the profile limitation i have locked the mapoptions so that the students can't alter the visibility of hidden folders and files. i know offcourse they can still access them, but only if they know the exact name, and that's acceptable, because they don't. now, they can still see the hidden maps when they do a search...
