Microsoft Anna help
Around July-August I got Microsoft Anna thinking it would be nice to
type in stuff like Speakonia and use it for fun but I then discovered a
horrid outcome. Everytime I copy something or something comes up, it
reads the whole darn page! I've tried to disable it several times but it
is no use. *GOD, PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME! SHE'S DRIVING ME INSANE! *Oh,

USB Audio with Acer Monitor P244 speaker
Hi,
I have just bought Acer P244W Monitor that come with a speaker. I have
Dell XPS 1330 with Vista Business. I can get the monitor working to the
maximum resolution... however, the speaker doesn't have any sound. It
detect the USB sound device.. driver is provided by microsoft.

Install Vista 64 bit (SP1) onto bootable Solid State Disk
Is it possible to install Vista 64 bit (SP1) onto a SSD and make this bootable?
As in, a PC that only has a SSD in it and no hard disks at all.
Motherboard: Asus P6T Delux
CPU: i7 940
SSD: OCZ Core V2, 120GB, SATA II, 2.5â€
If it is possible, is there anything special that has to be done first or is
the SSD seen as a normal HD by Vista 64 bit (SP1)?

Using an old master HDD with XP as a USB slave on new PC
My old computer's power supply died, and I just got a new Dell Inspiron
530 desktop with Vista Home. The new computer has all SATA connections,
so when I wanted to transfer the data from my old all-PATA PC to the new

Creative Audio Problems
Recently bought a creative sound blaster x-fi elite pro sound card to do some
recording on my pc. I am trying to use cubase LE that came with the sound
card, but everytime I use cubase and turn one of the dials on the sound card
input dock i get the blue screen of death! I've tried downloading the latest
drivers as apparently previous versions have bugs, but nothing seems to work.

AuthenTec Inc AES1610 update not working

Problem Ejecting USB Mass Storage Device
I use a USB drive to backup my PC. I do NOT use the "schedule" feature of
my backup software because I prefer to backup manually, on my terms, when
the PC is not in use.
When I plug in the USB drive, or even from a fresh boot with the USB drive
already plugged in, I am unable to "safely remove" it. When I attempt to

HP Laserjet 1012 and Vista 64 bit (driver work-around worked for me)
I have the hp Laserjet 1012 and, after wasting much time with different
failed attempts, I finally got it to work with my Dell Studio Vista Home

Unbootable Hard Drive
I fried my hard drive last week. Dell has already installed a replacement
drive. My question is that the os will not recognize the old drive at all.
Like an idiot I forgot to backup my files. Is there a workaround? The disk
drive does not even show up in the recovery function.

Adding IDE Drive to New System with ATA / SATA Architecture
Finally got a new system, made my buy, no problem with Vista [ Hitachi HDP725
SCSI 160GB HD ], (new drive). Added Maxtor 'OneTouch' USB 500GB external HD

LifeCam VX-3000 causes instability (freezing)
I've had a lot of stability issues recently (freezes) and have located the
cause as the software for the Microsoft LifeCam VX-3000. I've uninstalled
the software, but the camera still works with Live Messanger, which is nice.
Is there a driver-only package for this, or another solution to get some
functionality?

I have a new computer but I am using my old Dell 5.1 speakers. I am

Screen Resolution
Hi
I am unable to set my screen resolution to 1280x1024.
I am using the latest nVidia Drivers for graphics card and the display is
working at that setting when using XP.
The monitor drivers that I am using is the Generic Non-PnP monitor drivers

Intellimouse scrollwheel stops working
I have a Microsoft Intellimouse and sometiimes the scrollwheel stops working.
Rebooting will fix it for awhile, then it happens again. I'm using Vista

Cannot remove orphaned com ports !!!!!

USB Conflict
New PC.
Vista Ultimate SP2
MS Entertainment Wireless 8000 kbd and mouse.
When ever I plug or unplug a thumb drive or other USB device (SD with
adapter), the keyboard and mouse locks up for several seconds to several

Problems installing XP on 2nd HD
I am attempting to set up a dual boot on my PC running Vista Ultimate
X64. I want to load XP on a second hard drive but during windows XP
setup I get a stop message informing me "a problem has been detected and
windows is shutting down...etc. with the following tech info: stop:
