Vista - Booting off a stripped set
(I'm unable to post in the Vista newsgroups! Anyone knows why? The site acts
as if I'm not logged in (the sign in button is always present) and simply
redirects me to the same page when I try to click the ask a question button.

Installing Vista home Premium over Vista Business
Hello everyone,
I recently bought a Refurbished Dell 1525 from Dell outlet. The online
specifications for this particular machine said was loaded with
Windows Vista Business. However, when I got the machine it was in fact

Install Vista 64 bit (SP1) onto Solid State Disk
Is it possible to install Vista 64 bit (SP1) onto a SSD and make this bootable?
As in, a PC that only has a SSD in it and no hard disks at all.
Motherboard: Asus P6T Delux
CPU: i7 940
SSD: OCZ Core V2, 120GB, SATA II, 2.5â€
If it is possible, is there anything special that has to be done first or is
the SSD seen as a normal HD?...

Installing old Printers
Newbie - I don't even have a Vista Computer, but one is arriving in a few
days - Vista Ultimate
My old XP computer drives two four year old printers - one HP all-in -one
LaserJet and one Epson inkjet.
When I installed these printers on the XP machine, each came with a CD with
the installation software (drivers, manual PDF, etc..).

Installing Vista over Ubuntu
My father just received a Dell Inspiron 530 with Ubuntu installed as the
OS. He asked me to install Vista Home Premium 32bit w/ SP1 on the system
(a clean installation), but I am having significant trouble installing
it. The disc does not autorun and for some reason the system will not
run setup.exe. Any ideas? Thanks.

CD autorun problem
I've tried many ways to get the autorun cd function enabled but it won't

Creating partitions on Vista Home
Hi,
I've a 320 GB HDD on my Dell - Inspiron 1525. Vista comes company
installed and there are only two drives on it. C carrying OS and of
285 GB while a recovery drive D of around 20 space.

Hello,
Is there a way to distribute theme to enterprise systems after the build
process?
For example, I do not want to use the unattend.xml file, but I would rather
distribute the theme as a SMS package.
The requirement is that the theme can be changed by the user; therefore,

Disk Encryption with TrueCrypt and Backups

Dell Help, Automatic feature installation
I just received a Dell Studio 1523 as a gift. I'm new to Vista and

I've searched for details on part numbers without luck. Does anyone know if

installation halt
Hi guys,
I think im in trouble now..my laptop was working properly until
suddenly it crashes with the blue screen shown up before the system
reboot. The problem on the blue screen was due to the display
driver.after a few restarts I cant start as whenever it is supposed to
come to welcome screen nothing happened and the blue screen showed up
again , it said the display driver can not be reloaded....

vista 64bit with 32bit key
I am trying to use a 64bit vista install disc, with a 32bit key, it
installs but wont activate.
Is it because I have activated this copy of windows on my home PC?
(with my own 64bit key)
I thought the copy of windows was independent of the key being used to
activate?

I installed WordPerfect Office X3. Quattro Pro X3 has the runtime error-

Vista boot menu
Hi,
I just installed Vista business on an Asus P2-P5945GC and it run fine except
for the bootup.
Every time I bootup I am presented with the bootmenu, giving me the option
to start Vista or (using the TAB key) to start a memory test.

This Vista is from June 2007, so after installing, I used Windows Update.
