Invalid partition table on bootup...
I upgraded my XP Pro sp2 machine yesterday to Vista Ultimate, keeping all of
my current programs and settings. All went well and when it completed I
enjoyed playing around with Vista while it dowloaded and installed all of
the current updates. When it finished and asked for a restart, I clicked on

Help Installing Vista Clean
When I try to install WVista home premium, I get the error message "a
required cd/dvd device driver is missing..." I have a brand new system that I
set up myself, new Plextor 755SA sata hard drive, WD Sata hard drive, Intel
975xBX2 mobo. All hardware is working. Tried putting in the dvd/HD install

Keyboard Does't work when System start up (When XP and VISTA insta
I installed XP in C:\ before, and installed Vista Ultimate in D:\ yesterday,
but when start my computer today, my keyboard stop work in the start moment,
I can only wait it loading the default system(vista), when log into the
vista, Keyboard is work well.

working great.

Office 2007 install
'Setup cannot continue because a required file is either corrupted or not
available. Run Setup again from the original source disc or download
location.'
This is a DVD from MS, trying to load office 2007 on an ASUS VX2 with Win
Vista Ultimate 32 bit.
Suggest you make your DVD's compatible with your operating systems.

Device Driver During Install
While trying to install vista home premium on a machine I am currently
building, I am given a error that device drivers for my LG GSA-H62NK cd/dvd
drive are missing. I have already contacted LG and was told that the drive is
plug and play and that it should be compatible with drivers already loaded.
I've also tried downloading similar drives off the LG site, but vista will
not recognize ...

Computer Shuts Down
Ive tried installing Vista Home Premium 5 times on my new build but my
computer will always shut itself off at the exact same time. When I turn the
computer back on itll say Windows didnt finish because of an unexpected error

activation problem after reinstall
I reformated and reinstalled vista yesterday and when I tried to activate
online again a message popped up saying "The product key you typed is already
in use". I didn't make any hardware changes. I tried using the automated
phone system to activate, but it fails as well. It says it will connect me to
a human but it keeps disconnecting me. How do I reactivate?...

BOOTSECT.BAK
Hi!
I've read what I can see about this BOOTSECT.BAK file but I really can't
understand why it's there on my root drive. I've formatted the whole drive
from the recovery console on XP, deleted all partitions and still Vista is
making a backup of something that shouldn't be there. I know I can delete it

path error
I just upgraded to Vista Ultimate with one-step update. Some of the default
folder locations for temp files were changed and after problems with ActiveX
I returned to the defaults.
Still having problems with path errors. For instance when I try to access
print preview when trying to print from mapquest the following error is
generated:

External HD and activation?
I have an external HD that I do not always turn on. I basically use it
for backup purposes. How will "activation" handle this?? Should I turn
it on or off during activation? H*ll, I don't want to reactivate every
time I turn it on or off!
